Dec 15, 2015 4:13 AM in response to tim5700by tim5700,I ran through the following steps:
1. Logged out of iCloud on ALL my iDevices (iPhone, iPads).
2. Logged out of iCloud on my Macbook Pro and assigned a local password.
3. Reset my keychain & cleared old keychain files.
4. Updated to El Capitan 10.11.2.
5. Logged in to iCloud on my Macbook Pro.
6. Reset my security passcode in iCloud (six digit PIN).
7. Logged in to iCloud on my iDevices.
When I reboot and log in, I still get the "Finish changing your passcode" banner. I only get this on my Macbook Pro.
Need some help to make this go away. Thanks.

Dec 21, 2015 10:19 AM in response to tim5700by Sulaya,I'm also getting this error. Just on my 5S, not on my Ipad4 - both using the same Apple ID for everything.
@tim5700 - Were you able to get a resolution?

Dec 21, 2015 1:43 PM in response to Sulayaby tim5700,I opened a ticket with Apple support. It's been escalated. The last person I spoke to seemed to think it is less a config thing on my devices and more a problem with my iCloud account.
The last I heard from the support tech was Friday morning.
@Apple (Whoever is reading this). Is it possible for me to save everything in my iCloud, and then just completely wipe everything in it? Account settings, everything?

Jan 30, 2016 12:00 AM in response to tim5700by SnapperNZ,I had this on my iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2 and 9.2.1 - disabled 2-factor, no change, removed iCloud account, no change, spoke to Apple who got me to reset all settings on the iPhone, issue went away - had to reconfigure heaps of lost settings, ring tones, wallpapers, keyboard clicks, stuff like that - took several days to find all the issues I had as a result of deleting "all settings".
Two days later, I now have the popup on OS X - so iPhone is working, OS X now has the issue.
EXTREMELY annoying.

Feb 20, 2016 1:52 PM in response to Basco124by tim5700,The link provided is for the error on iOS. I'm experiencing it on Mac OS X only. I've tried disabling two factor and signing out of iCloud. No love.
