Sync with iphone 5s and itunes on Windows 10 PC stuck on sync 3 of 7. All updates current

Windows 10, ITunes 12.3.1.23 iPhone 5S ver 9.2: Sync stuck on 3 of 7. I have reset, rebooted, shut down, turned on...still the problem. I see many many people have this problem. Is it time for a Windows Phone? Please help.
