Q: My iPod won't connect to the internet at home. What can I do?
When I got home I noticed that my iPod wasn't connecting to the internet at all and I thought "It might be just loading I'll wait", and as I did I still noticed that it wasn't connecting or making an effort to at all. I tried turning it on and off, turning the wifi on and off, bluetooth on and off, and the airplane mode on and off but nothing has worked so far. So I decided to wait patiently and think "Maybe my wifi is down at the moment, probably why my brother went out with friends as soon as I got home." but I realized, "Why does my laptop connect to wifi but not my iPod"
So everything is connected to wifi, except for my iPod at home.. I'm really concerned about this because it can be a bug or a glitch and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried all that I could by following advice on the internet which includes:
- Resetting and holding the home and lock screen button
- Resetting my Network Settings
- Resetting all of my iPod's settings (except for media/contacts etc)
- etc.
I don't know what it's been doing and why it's acting up this way but I've been waiting 3 hours patiently for my iPod to connect to wifi but it won't.. I'm not a technician so I don't know if my brother could've banned me from using my own wifi cause he can do all these crazy things that I don't know of. Neither do I know my other options, I would give it in for apple to check up on it and all that but I don't want to spend money yet (even if it's costs me to get help even though I don't think it does, but if I have to get another iPod, yes it will..)
If anybody can tell me what I can do besides all the things I've already done that'd be amazing. Thank's so much.
