when I try to sync me new iPhone via icloud it asks me to sign in to an apple id that no longer exists it will sink via usb

It sounds like you getting prompted to sign in with a previous Apple ID when you sync your phone over Wi-Fi. I would attempt signing in, per the following article about that very sort of issue:

Sounds like its got another unknown apple ID ?
If so return to seller.

Thanks I finally turned out that a very old app on my old phone had used the apple id deleted it offthe new phone and the problem was resolved
