iTunes 12.3.2.25 latest update - new playlist no longer in alphabetical order

I just updated to the latest iTunes 12.3.2.25 on El Capitan.

When I create a new Playlist inside a folder, it should automatically be in alphabetical order. Now when creating a new playlist, the playlist falls to the bottom of the list.

How can I fix this?

You're right. Playlists on the main list are alphabetical, but a new playlist inside a playlist folder gets placed at the bottom. Seems to be a bug. While trying different things with a new playlist folder with new playlists, I noticed that if there is at least one item in each playlist, the playlist folder's playlists becomes ordered alphabetically.

Experiencing this issue as well. Have narrowed it down to the following factor.

When a playlist is altered (song added or removed) it is moved down to the bottom of the list.

Almost as ifitunesis sorting playlists by reverse recently updated. I have a feeling iTunes match may be involved.

However playlistsreturn to the correct order whenitunesis restarted. And then only move if they are subsequently updated

I am using iTunes 12.3.2.35 on OSX 10.11.2 with iTunes Match enabled

I found another problem which can lead to constantly changing order, every time you click on a playlist inside a folder. It all seems to depend on the view you choose (from the dropdown on the top, far right, directly under the search box).

You can choose things like Playlist, etc, but one of them, if inside a folder, should be the name of the folder it is in. If you choose that view, every time you click on that playlist, unless it is already at the bottom, it will jump to the bottom. Sure, you can quit iTunes and restart to get them back in order, but the problem will just repeat. The only "solution" I've come up with so far is to never choose that view - which, unfortunately, I liked!

Hope this helps.

I also have this issue and I am on an older MacBook Pro (mid-2009) with El Captain (Latest Version) and the latest version of iTunes. I cannot remember which update this started with but I hope it will be fixed in the next iTunes update! For awhile I just thought it was something to do with my system but from researching the problem, it appears to be an issue with iTunes (Which I must say is a very strange issue).
