Mac Book air Display problem

Hi,

I have a LG 22MP47d-p monitor.

I was using it connecting from thunderbolt to VGA cable without any problem with my

Macbook air 11" (mid 2012)

OSX El Capitan

on 1920x1080 resolution without any problem.

Now I bought a new Macbook.

Macbook air 13" (early 2015). With the same configuration I can not see any resolution higher than 1280x1024.

I will be appreciated for any kind of help here.

Thanks,

Deniz

Dear all,

I have recently purchased a macbook air 11" (Early 2015) and I have exactly the same issue described here. HDMI OK, VGA NOT ok. The screen works but with bad resolution and same thing with my TV on VGA.

I also have a macbook air Early 2013 with Intel HD 5000 and it works perfect with the same monitor display.

Please, can you provide a solution? it is mandatory for me to work.
