downloading Apple Watch App on iPhone 5S

To pair and set up Apple Watch, your iPhone needs to be running iOS 9 or later (current version is iOS 9.2).

To update your iPhone software, follow the instructions here:

You will then be able to set up your new Apple Watch by following the instructions below. The Watch app is pre-installed as part of iOS - you do not need to download or install it separately:

If you have iOS 9 or later already, but cannot find the Watch app:

- On your iPhone, go to the Home screen > swipe down from the centre of the screen > use Search to look for "Watch".

To clarify (as you have since posted the same question again):

The app is already on your iPhone. You do not need to visit the App Store to obtain it (it is included as part of iOS, so is not even available from the App Store).

Use Search on your iPhone to locate the app and search only for "Watch", not for "Apple Watch".

To access the Search feature on your iPhone, either:

• Swipe down from the centre of the screen when viewing your Home screen, or;
• Swipe left when viewing your Home screen.

The app icon and name look like this:

When using Search, did you type in only "Watch" ?

When using the Search feature on your iPhone (do not search using Safari or the App Store), the result should look like this:

Alternatively, tell Siri to "Open the Watch app".

Please verify the model number at: Settings - General - About - Model = ???

Are you certain that your iPhone is an iPhone 5s?

If your iPhone is an earlier model than iPhone 5, it is not compatible with Apple Watch, so the app will not be installed.

Your iPhone is a 4s, so is not compatible with Apple Watch.

That is an iPhone 4S, thus no Watch App.
