Installing Windows Vista via Boot Camp on Macbook Late 2009

I'm trying to install Windows Vista (32-bit) via Boot Camp Assistant onto my Macbook (13-inch, Late 2009). When I open Boot Camp Assistant it looks like this:

When I insert my installer disc, Boot Camp Assistant says "Earlier versions of Windows are not supported." and below that it says "Please use a DVD or USB drive which contains Windows 7 or later." However, Apple's Boot Camp compatibility charts show this:

Do you see that? Apple is saying that my MacBook (13-inch, Late 2009) is compatible with Windows Vista (32-bit)... Right?

Could this be the problem: On my installer disc it says "The software is already installed on your computer. Only use this DVD to reinstall the operation system on a Dell PC." & "This DVD is not for reinstallation of programs or drivers." I think Dell is only saying that because they want you to believe that you can only use it with Dell computers.
