windows 8.1 pc. ipod nano 6th gen 8gb. when connected to my pc my entire music library shows up in itunes, however when disconnected after synching the nano says no music. can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Your iPod nano may have data corruption, so its software cannot access the song files. You should do a Restore on the iPod using iTunes. This will erase the iPod, reinstall its software, and set it to default settings. The Restore button is on the iPod's settings screen in iTunes.
thanx for quick reply. i was about to do what you suggested . But after more flailing around ,presto! the nano suddenly decided to work!
Not sure what i did but all good now.Weird. 2nd time this has happened. Seems to take awhile to recover from charging battery for whatever reason. Anyway thanx again.
If it starts doing this more often, and there is nothing physically wrong with your iPod nano, doing a Restore should resolve the issue.
