Sign out of iCloud. Messages. and FaceTime using your old password and then sign in with the new ID and password.

I have this same problem except I did not sign out of everything before I changed the email. I cannot do the temporary email change because the old email that I was using is no longer an actual email, so I cannot receive the verification code from it. What should I do?
