I've been charging my new iPhone 6S with a fake iPad charger for exactly 15 days now. I just found out that it's fake. Has my battery been damaged already?
I bought an iPhone 6S last November 28, and I found out that there's no issue charging an iPhone using an iPad mini charger - so that it will fill its battery up faster than using its original 5W charger. So yeah, it charges fast and all that stuff. However, I just found out now that my iPad charger is fake. I got it with the second hand iPad mini 2 I bought from a stranger last July 19. The iPad mini 2 is original - no worries about that. So on the charger/adapter, it says:
10W USB Power Adapter
Designed in California Assembled in China
Upon checking online, it should be Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China. Also, instead of Foxlink, it says FoxInk.
I'm so sad because I worked hard to buy this brand new iPhone 6S and I don't want to have battery issues with it. So I'm wondering if it's already been damaged and is still there any good now that I've been using its original 5W charger? *face plus gun emojis*
