Q: Investment database

AppleWorks had a great offline database where I could keep all my investments, their values and grand total. Does anyone know of any such offline database which wiuld do what that AW programme did? Don't mind paying for one. Thanks.

The excellent donation-ware productivity suite LibreOffice has a database component that is compatible with Microsoft Access.

http://www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/

LibreOffice is a very polished and stable program. And free, so it is certainly worth a look.
