Hi Shabbir
Apple Watch has two built-in health and fitness apps: the Activity app and the Workout app. For the best results, ensure that your arm swings naturally as you walk on the treadmill, as Apple Watch uses arm motion (measured by the built-in accelerometer) to track and estimate movement for indoor activities. If you use the Workout app, your watch will also measure your heart rate continuously during the workout to help estimate calorie burn.
Check that you have set up the Activity app:
- Tap on the Activity rings on your watch face or open the Activity app (if you have not yet set it up, you will be prompted to answer a few questions).
Also, check that fitness tracking is enabled:
- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness > Fitness Tracking.
You can improve the accuracy of activity-related estimates by calibrating Apple Watch (taking your iPhone with you during outdoor walks or runs, connected to your Apple Watch and with Location Services enabled - see the detailed instructions in the support article below).
