Q: Wireless Mouse Disconnecting

I have a 2013 iMac running El Capitan.

For some reason the mouse keeps disconnecting and randomly stops while moving.

I have tried 3 different mice and it happens with all of them.

Is there any fix for this?

Below is a link to some good Apple tips on what to do if you are having trouble with your wireless mouse or keyboard. Chances are something is interfering with the signal. Sometimes it can be as innocent looking as a metal pen or mechanical pencil near the mouse.
