I just bought the new Apple TV (4th Gen) only to find out I can't pair my Apple Bluetooth keyboard (as I was able to with the 3rd gen) & now I have to constantly fumble through entering my lengthy password to access anything! What is going on Apple?!?

At this time the ATV4 does not support Bluetooth keyboards. It's not been announced whether or not compatibility is likely to be added in the future.
While true the ATV4 does not support keyboards, the remote app is available allowing you to use the keyboard on your iDevice rather than the onscreen keyboard...

I have the exact same problem. I am unable to pair my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard K811 to my AppleTV4. However I was able to pair with my Apple TV third-generation.
I am so frustrated. Is Apple forcing ATV4 users to just use its new glide remote? I acquired the K811 keyboard so that I don't have to stress my right thumb to enter the passwords in my Apple TV apps. This is definitely a step backwards for Apple TV.
You can use the remote app (which has a keyboard). And make sure to send feedback to Apple - the more requests they receive the more likely they would be to add that support... http://www.apple.com/feedback/
