Sony NWZX2 use with Apple. Are there any others who use both this MP3 player with Apple computers?

I have nearly filled my two Sony walkman MP3 players after years of using them with my windows computers.

I was looking to buy an Apple jukebox player to replace both of these players , and have all of my library on one player.

The jukebox is no longer available , so I bought the Sony NWZ X2 which purported to be compatible with Apple.

There is a basic transfer tool that I have but it is a poor replacement to my old windows media player with a very limited range of functions.

I am trying to get the album artwork for over 1000 of my cd's that are now on my new player. All of the player functions appear to relate to the Sony media go software that is for windows users , and there does not appear to anything comparable for Apple.

Does anybody know of any apps that work well with Sony players on my iMac and macbook pro?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

I have a sony phone and tablet.

Any time I have transferred music over from itunes, the album art and track information was included and nothing further was needed to be done or downloaded.

I just dragged and dropped it onto the devices, bypassing Sony's software.

If you need support-I suggest you hit the Sony forums, since it will have people who actually own the device.

There is almost no chance anyone here bought a $1200 sony walkman.
