AirDrop does not show up in control center on my phone.

Airdrop is not showing up in control center on my phone. Is there some way to "turn it on" some other way. I would like to use it but it is not there

Check under restrictions. Settings>general>restrictions>make sure it is on under "allow." Also be sure that wifi and bluetooth are on. - AJ

Same question, but with an Ipad2, under IoS 9.3.5. Wifi and Bluetooth are on. No restrictions in Settings General. But no Airdrop button. Is there a trigger somewhere else?
