Windows 10 WiFi and Audio not working with El Capitan

Ive recently reinstalled windows 10 on my late 2015 iMac 27" retina with 3tb fusion drive running the latest version of El Capitan because of an issue with Wifi and audio stopping working (I thought it was a windows fault) and after a few days usage the new install has done exactly the same thing.

Wifi drivers seem to be installed but it cannot find any Wifi networks (despite the fact that it found them perfectly before) and the sound is reporting no audio device connected. There are no missing drivers shown in device manager, I have tried the fix this device option within windows and it did nothing.

I have tried to download the bootcamp drivers again by opening boot camp assistant in OSX and when I click continue from the first screen I am greeted by the error message

The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows.

So i cannot create a new usb stick to install the drivers again or even remove the partition to try again.

Has anyone else experienced this and has anyone found a solution? Like I say its the second time this exact same fault has occurred so I am thinking its either a hardware fault or a fault in the bootcamp drivers

Thanks in advance for any help

I have the exactly same problem with my IMAC 27" 2015. The first problem is that Windows 10 cannot be installed on the partition prepared by bootcamp assistant. After PRAM reset i succeed to install windows 10 with everything goes well. But the second time booting into windows, there's is no sound device!

Wifi card does exist in device manager but it cannot work either. No wifi can be searched. I reinstalled supported drivers but no effect.

I also tried both versions of windows 10240 and 10586. The same result. Another problem i cannot find the windows in setting of startup disk. i have to use "option" to manually select MacOs or windows at the beginning of booting.

My guess is some chips are not activated after reboot. I have already try to find the solutions for days but still no answer.

I kept the supported software which downloaded when installing windows.

So I tried:

-Reinstall bootcamp which automatically repair the driver packages

-Uninstall sound driver package and reinstall it (CirrusAudioCS4206Bx64.exe)

-PRAM reset

but none of these operations works.

I now i uninstalled the cirrus sound device from device manager. It does not appear again after re-scanning device.

Hello Guys,

I had an issue with the same exact question, cause I use Packet Tracer so I ende up installing it through Boot Camp,

and after several times of erase and re install due my clue, guess what I let it install as a like the very welcome menu on start up

then right where it comes several minutes loading as soon as you see the WiFi shows up... go to the Search Bar menu on Windows, type Windows Update then select search for updates, and proceed to install from there.

Would restarts and... BinGo... Here the tech Bite.
