Dec 15, 2015 6:56 AM in response to Andy Nielsenby alex_h1,Hello Andy Nielsen,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I understand you're trying to find the iTunes Extras in a purchased movie on your Apple TV (4th generation). If you're not seeing the menu when opening your movie, then you are likely using Home Sharing to view the movie. Instead, you will want to select the movie from the movies section as described below.
Play movies with iTunes Extras
Here’s what you need to stream the new iTunes Extras:
- Mac using OS X Mavericks v10.9.3 or later and iTunes 11.3 or later
- PC using iTunes 11.3 or later
- Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation or later) using Apple TV software 6.2 or later
- iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iOS 8 or later (You need to connect to Wi-Fi. Extras won't appear if you're connected to a cellular network.)
- An active Internet connection
You can use the steps below on your Apple TV, Mac, PC, or iOS device for any purchased, HD movie that features Extras:
- On your Apple TV, select Movies, then select your movie to see the Extras menu. Extras aren't available from the Computer tile on Apple TV (Home Sharing).
Buy and play movies with iTunes Extras
Take care.

Dec 19, 2015 6:35 PM in response to Andy Nielsenby iPhone236545,I Too am having this problem with certain movies. It appears to only be dream works movies like how to train your dragon. Even when I go to the store page it acts like I have never nought the movie. But the extras work fine on everything else. Just not my Apple TV 4th generation.

Dec 19, 2015 6:47 PM in response to iPhone236545by Andy Nielsen,I Figured it out. In order to see the menu for the Extras. The system has to be set to HD in the Settings. I had it on SD as default. After switching it, all menus show up in HD movies.

Dec 19, 2015 8:51 PM in response to iPhone236545by Protodd,Movies as well as extras are available for a limited time. All movies receive a limited window (to itunes or Netflix or HBO etc) which is why it's recommended to download movies/music to your local iTunes library to ensure you have access to purchased content even when the iTunes availability expires...

Dec 19, 2015 9:02 PM in response to Protoddby iPhone236545,That is not the case. The movies work fine on all my other devices in the cloud. There is no time limit on iTunes extras. It appears to only happen with dream works movies.
