Q: not all of my photos will import off my phone

when I am importing pictures from my Iphone it will not import all of them.  I will get two pictures then I won't get anything and then I get a few more.  Why can't I get all of my photos???

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.0.2

    Hello samanthawo,

     

    It sounds like only some of your photos are importing to your computer when you connect your phone to it rather than all of them. That indicates to me the photos that don't import were probably synced to the phone through iTunes since these do not get reimported. Take a look at this info from the following article:

     

    Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes

    • You can't reimport pictures synced from your computer to your device back to your computer. You can only import pictures taken by your device, or saved to it, from your device to your computer. If you need to retrieve synced photos from your device, email the photos from the device to yourself. Then download the photos from the emails to your computer.
