Q: AirDrop - older MACs?

I have a 13" MacAir, Late 2010. and 20 inch iMac, mid-2007 both running OS 10.10.5 \

They are both on the same wireless network.

When I launch AirDrop on both computers the iMac sees the MacAir, but the iMac does not see the MacAir.

I do not see the "Don't see who you're looking for?" or "Allow me to be discovered by Everyone"?

Any thoughts on how to use AirDrop?

Your iMac is too old to support that feature.

That's it? No work around? (It worked under Mavericks).

Ditch the lower powered airdrop app. There are a lot of alternative apps around. I use Dukto
