Q: Why does iTunes opens PHOTOS when phone plugged into MBP
OS 10.11.2
iTunes 12.3.2.35
PHOTOS 1.3
I have several questions concerning iTunes 12.3.2.35
Why does PHOTOS open on my MBP when my phone is tethered to my MBP, I don't that to happen, where do I deselect that options.
When I create a PLAYLIST the playlist no longer just PLAYS IN THE ORDER I HAVE THE SONGS IN, I have to now go in and designate which one is up next?
I have them in the order I want them in but they will not 'just play', why, how do I get what I had.
Also, in iTunes how do I have a song just play again and again after it's completed.
I also have these same questions for my iPhone 6, iOS 9.2 and iPhone 5 running 9.1
Thanks for any help or light you can provide

if after I select Ctrl-click in iTunes then drag and drop this playlist to my iPhone 5 (which is only an iPod-sim slot is shot-no phone or internet) will these songs in the Playlist follow suit and play in the order I placed on them in iTunes?
Sounds like you're manually managing the music content on this sim-less iPhone, as opposed to auto-sync. In that case, yes you may need to delete the playlist from the iPhone then re-drag the updated playlist to the iPhone for it to get the changes you made in iTunes. But first try clicking the Sync button in iTunes with the iPhone connected, perhaps it will update the iPhone but I don't think so.

1. The songs on my MBP in iTunes, should't I be able to play them on either phone, my 5 or 6 in another room in the house, like the upstairs bedroom or the grandkids room? I have internet via Ethernet, I also have wifi available but use the ethernet mostly for speed.
If you want the music from your MBP to be playable on your iPhones, you have a couple options: (a) Load the music from the MBP onto the iPhone either by auto-syncing to iTunes or manually drag-and-drop music, or (b) Use Home Sharing to access your MBP's library from your iPhones, or (c) Use the Remote app on your iPhone to play and control the MBP playback over AirPlay.
I suspect that you want (b) ... Using Home Sharing allows your iPhone to play music that is on your MBP, but to do so requires some setup and reasonably fast and reliable Wi-Fi, info here:

2. How do I access my iTunes songs library as I stated above to play playlists or single songs?
rockmyplimsoul, I want to thank you for coming to the aid of a 68 year old guy who continues to attempt to keep up with the OS's and the hidden undocumented 'to-do's'.
Ethernet won't help you with iPhone Home Sharing, unless you have a Wi-Fi Access Point connected to Ethernet to extend the range of your Wi-Fi network. Home Sharing for an iOS device requires Wi-Fi, and the MBP and iPhones have to be on the same network (the MBP can be connected via Ethernet, but the iPhones have to connect via Wi-Fi of course).
You're welcome, and good luck!
