Q: how can I fix PREVIEW it keeps messing up :(

I use the Preview application to view research articles. Recently it started messing up. What are my options?

One option is to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader and use it instead. I did that because Preview was extremely slow in handling large Pdfs -- e.g. my daily newspaper. Following is a link to Adobe's download: https://get.adobe.com/reader/
