Itunes 12.3.2.35 does not recognize or allow syncing after upgrading to Windows 10

Itunes version 12.3.2.35 or any version since upgrading to Windows 10 is not showing my iPhone 5. I have turned off and back on the PC, changed USB ports, tried google search, Apple's website for a remedy without success.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1
