Dec 14, 2015 1:05 PM in response to Flyingsby BobTheFisherman,Why would you think a site with that domain would be a legit Apple site? Apple sites have the domain apple.com
not something-apple.com.

Dec 14, 2015 1:14 PM in response to BobTheFishermanby Flyings,Thanks. I got it. But did you see the website? Incredible. Then I found out it isn't working. But still. Wow

Dec 14, 2015 1:22 PM in response to Flyingsby BobTheFisherman,No I did not see the website. Phishers/crooks copy or create legit looking sites to lure visitors into their trap. The domain name is a sure indication that it is not a legit Apple site. Do not even visit such sites, especially if you received the bogus link in an email or other unsolicited communication.

Dec 14, 2015 1:27 PM in response to BobTheFishermanby Flyings,Thanks again. This actually was a phone call to the number (not mine) that you provide as your safety net in case the phone gets stolen. The phone got stolen. The owner blocked everything. Then the safety number got a call, that indeed the phone was found. Anyway, you helped me lot. Big scam.

Feb 15, 2016 10:29 PM in response to Flyingsby arugerio5179,hi, my phone was stolen tonal i got a text from them. will the text help me find my phone? do you know what it means in terms of the stolen phone?

Feb 16, 2016 4:27 AM in response to arugerio5179by turingtest2,The text will be part of a scam. If your phone is activation locked through Find my iPhone/iCloud they will try to either gain your credentials so they can unlock the phone, or persuade you to remove it from your list of devices in order to remove the activation lock. Hopefully you have reported the theft and cancelled the SIM (£220 worth of fraudulent calls were made with mine when it was stolen). If you have reported the crime you could let the authorities know about the text you have received.

Feb 16, 2016 9:04 AM in response to arugerio5179by ChitlinsCC,"text" to what device?
If your iPhone is in the possession of the thief, how do YOU get it?
If you get it on your iPad, this article tells how to report "SPAM/Junk" messages > Report iMessages that look like spam or junk - Apple Support
If you change the email address in these instructions, it will reach Apple & their policing partner https://www.phishlabs.com/
Report an iMessage by sending an email
If you don't have iOS 8.3 or later, you can send an email to imessage.spam reportphishing@apple.com with this information:
- A screenshot of the message (See how to take a screenshot on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.)
- The email address or phone number that sent the iMessage
- The date and time that you got the iMessage
