Feb 12, 2016 6:32 AM in response to onetruevuby alinetta7,Well, this is getting ridiculous. They fixed the bug in 10.11.4 Public beta 1, but it came back in Public beta 2 и beta 3.
I even submitted a bug report with logs and everything, but was told that they aware of the problem (marked my bugreport as duplicate). So, maybe you could fix it, guys? The quality of OS X really went down to drain lately :-(

Feb 15, 2016 12:33 AM in response to DimNCby alinetta7,It's my work router, I'm not an admin, and there dozens other people in the office with working Wi-Fi. Only me got stuck with this stupid bug. I went back to 10.11.1 _AGAIN_ and will stay there till 10.12

Feb 15, 2016 2:44 AM in response to alinetta7by DimNC,Yeah, not an easy tthing to have the wifi to work in 2016…
I went back twice to 10.11.1, but my Mac forced the update twice. So **** it, I'm staying in wifi-n and pray for the issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
A real shame.

Feb 15, 2016 4:28 AM in response to jfculatby capoeira-pl,Tried uninstalling / reinstalling Avast or other anti-virus?
I had a WiFi connected but Safari was randomly very reluctant to open webpages.
After Avast uninstall/reinstall everything works perfectly fine.

Feb 15, 2016 6:53 AM in response to capoeira-plby vic303,Had issue that Wi-Fi would connect to 5GHz signal but not the 2.4GHz on same router or any router with only 2.4GHz. Figured out that if router I was trying to connect to had only Authentication Type WPA2 it would not connect but if changed to WPA2 & WPA (or auto if an option) it would connect without issue
iMac 27” running 10.11.3

Feb 15, 2016 4:40 PM in response to vic303by brycesteiner,My problem ended up being the router too. I reset it back to factory settings and my issues went away. All those times I was blaming Apple and it just happened to be that I didn't reset the router. Anytime there is an update, it's a good idea to reset the device whether it is a computer, router, camera, etc. It will at least eliminate one thing and possibly fix many others. For me it fixed my speed issues and the WPA2. I had the same thing with the WPA2. It needs to be on both WPA2 and WPA. I don't know why. I've had similar things on Windows too.

Feb 24, 2016 11:35 AM in response to vic303by kogucik,My problems with WiFi started to happen with OS X 10.11.3 and my model is MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013).
Internet was very slow and WiFi connection was lost very often. Last week I tried solution with changing MTU to 1453 and it helped a little - I was able to connect after restarting (turning off/on) the router and about 20 tries of turning off/on WiFi on MacBook. Now I changed WiFi Authentication Type to WPA/WPA2 Personal on Time Capsule and it connects in a second every time. It seems to be not so fast, but at least stable.

Feb 24, 2016 12:42 PM in response to kogucikby kogucik,OK, I have to cancel my previous post. It connects to WiFi without problems but internet connection is very unstable and slow. Next week I'm buying new laptop and selling this ****. It was my first and last Apple computer. I will dissuade everyone from buying any Apple computer since this "great" company isn't able to fix issue with the most important computer feature, affecting a lot of people for couple of months.

Feb 27, 2016 7:34 AM in response to jfculatby shinpseudo,Connecting isn't so much the issue as stability. As others have noted, any time something "connection-intensive" happens (opening more than one tab at a time, for example) my connection drops. This happens so much at 10.11.3 at this point, it's almost unusable.

Feb 27, 2016 7:51 AM in response to jfculatby DimNC,Hey guys,
What's the big deal? Wether Apple engineers do not know how to solve the Wifi problem, or they don't care.
So, what's the answer here?

Mar 4, 2016 9:29 AM in response to jfculatby sgr11,I've been facing this problem too since 10.11.2
Tried a lot of things recommended in this thread and other articles on the web. The only thing that has helped is changing the wireless mode in my router configuration to 802.11g instead of the previous 802.11b+g+n. It's been 10 hours and no disconnection; faced it every few minutes before. Fingers crossed!
All my other (non-MacBook) devices were working fine with 802.11b+g+n. I hope Apple fixes this issue in the next update.

Mar 14, 2016 9:02 PM in response to sgr11by JBZic,There's nothing more disappointing than realizing other people have the exact same problem you do and getting to the end of the thread and realizing there's no fix yet.
It's kind of ridiculous. This is a critical bug that makes my laptop (and apparently many others) almost unusable.

Mar 15, 2016 6:00 PM in response to JBZicby brycesteiner,I want to put out a friendly reminder to make sure you test one thing before concluding that it is the OS causing the issues. There are certainly problems still with 10.11.3, especially with USB, but this one may be solvable. It was for me anyway.
I had problems from the time of the beta with wifi speeds on my MBA with wireless AC. Transfer speeds could take 25 seconds or more for an 8mb picture. It was terrible. After going through the forums I was certain the problem was Apple's and I didn't solve it until a couple months ago, right after 10.11.3 was released and didn't solve my speeds.
Realizing that my Asus RT-AC68U Router had done updates, I was recommended to reset the router to factory settings after the updates (which there had been quite a few because Asus regularly adds features/fixes). Guess what? After resetting to factory defaults and setting it back up for my network, my wifi problems were completely fixed. It wasn't the fault of the OS.
I noticed recently there was another update for the router. I proceeded and noticed over the next week that speeds sending to the server were slow again. I then reset the router, entered in all the settings again (which is a pain) and the MBA was back to full speeds on wifi. The router, like any computer, gets an update and things don't quite run the same or as well at times.
It may not solve everyone's problems, but it certainly did mine and I hope it does yours too, if you are willing to take five minutes and try it.
