Q: I am trying to research why my phone will take and make calls with my car Bluetooth fine, but music will not work. I drive a 2011 Subaru Legacy

I am trying to figure out why my phone will not play music via Bluetooth through my 2011 Subaru Legacy. The phone works fine through Bluetooth so I am not sure what is going on. I can't find anything on the web about this, the closest I found is the complete opposite where peoples music works fine but the phone doesn't work through Bluetooth. Anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem is?!

    Did music ever play over Bluetooth in this vehicle?  If not, it could be that your sound system has Bluetooth but not for music (i.e. no A2DP support)

     

    If music did play over Bluetooth but no longer does, try to unpair/ re-pair the car stereo via your iPhone Bluetooth Settings.  If that does not help, on your iPhone try Settings/ General/ Reset/ Reset Network Settings (no data loss occurs).
