my ipod wont turn on i tried rebooting it a few times but then it shows me a picture that i need to connect to itunes then it goes away so i try rebooting it again and then it shows the apple sign and goes back to the black screen did this a few time

my iPod wont turn on so i tried rebooting it like every other answer says. It does absolutely nothing after a few times it shows me an image that tells me to connect to iTunes. But then it went away. after a bit i tried again and it shows my the apple sign and then goes back to the black screen. I did this a few times but the same things keep happening HELP!!

iPod touch (5th generation), iOS 9.1, over a year & batterysucks

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
