iPhoto 8 to Photos - Titles not displayed

Does anyone know how to import iPhoto 8 libraries to Photos and keep have the titles displayed? I read about a workaround, but I'm hoping there's an easy way to fix the problem.

VIN,Mac Pro (Early 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), Switch with Snow Leopard 10.6.8
