Apple TVYou can try deleting the remainder of the app from settings > apps, but if that doesn't help you may have to do a restor. You might consider subscribing to Apple Music instead.

Dec 15, 2015 8:32 AM in response to Winston Churchillby Steven Waters,Thanks for the advice. I've navigated to Settings > APPS but there is no uninstall or delete option. It appears the only way to delete / remove an app is to hold down the select button then to press the play/pause button. Even though I've deleted I'm still left with the phantom app icon and not able to reinstall the pandora app.
I do have the subscription to Apple Music but I find their music algorithm *****.

Dec 17, 2015 10:55 PM in response to Steven Watersby danharlacher,★HelpfulI was having the same issue. I could sign in to my Pandora account but nothing ever played. I talked to Pandora support and they suggested this and it solved the problem for me. Hope it helps others.
Please go to your Apple TV Settings, select Audio and Video, and disable the Reduce Loud Sounds setting. Then try Pandora again.
