Q: why does my bluetooth icon suddenly have 3 dots across it?

Suddenly my bluetooth icon has three dots across it. What is that about? They were never there before and I had to charge my wireless keyboard and mouse today then those dots showed up? Should I be concerned and how do I get rid of them??

That means that Bluetooth is on and at least one device is connected.
