    Well, for starters, you don't download TO something.  When you download something, you take it away.  You mean to ask how you can download photos from Facebook.  Can't you just right-click on the photo and select "Save Image As?"  That would then allow you to download that particular picture and save it to either your hard drive or an external drive.
