Will the alarm work even if my phone is off?

If you set an alarm using the Alarm Clock app on your watch, it will work even if the iPhone is disconnected (including when it is out of range or turned off).

To set an alarm on your watch, go to the Home screen (via a single press on the Digital Crown) and tap on the Alarm Clock app icon.

Alarms that you set on on your iPhone are not synced to Apple Watch. However, iPhone alarm alerts can be pushed to your watch, where you can remotely snooze or dismiss them. The same also applies to Timers set on your iPhone.

- To enable / disable this option, on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Clock > Push Alerts From iPhone.

Alarms and timers that are set directly on your watch operate entirely independently of your iPhone.
