Q: how do I find my family shared audio books

Family sharing question

I've looked in Ibooks and in ITunes - Ive looked on my iOS devices and on my computer. I can see the normal books but can not see the audio books that my family members have purchased.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Audiobooks (and tones) are one-time only downloads, they will not show in family sharing for redownloading (nor will the original purchaser be able to redownload them) - you have to copy/sync them onto each computer/device that you want them on.

Thank you for your help. I would think this is a change that needs to be made.

In addition its interesting that the person who manages the Family sharing is charged on their card, but can't access it.

It would need audible.com, who I think supply all of the audiobooks to Apple, to allow redownloading
