Q: Why is there no Trailer app on Apple TV 4 in Canada?

So if there are rights issues which forbid the app from being on Apple TV, why is it on the older Apple TV 3?  And why doesn't Apple warn it's users that there will be less functionality than our old Apple TV.  Obviously the new one does more, but who buys something which purports to be the latest and greatest, but actually has less function?  Oh yeah, me.

Very annoying, but a warning to those who regularly use the app.  If you are thinking of buying the new Apple TV, it does not have the Trailer feature.  Also, the Siri control is very limited.  Right now, I would suggest sticking with your older Apple TV.  There really isn't much reason to upgrade until there is more content and more functionality.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11), 3.4 GHz, Fusion drive

Being a user to user community, Apple are unlikely to read your comments, but if you have any suggestions that you think might enhance the Apple TV you can send Apple your feedback here

Yeah, I realize this is a user to user community, so this serves as a warning to users about what they will get with the new Apple TV in Canada.  Giving Apple feedback direct is, I fear, ******* in the wind.  Unless, that is, I can expect an answer, which I can't.

Well, not quite as funny as that Leprechaun finds it, but I'll retract the word "warning" and call it a shout out to others who may be planning on upgrading.  For me, not a good move.  My old Apple TV was better.

Actually, there are a couple of apps that offer trailers, so it's not like the OP is without and needs to issue a warning like we are all approaching thick fog at 90 mph, but hey, some love to draw the longbow.

Yes, Youtube is obviously useful, but the trailer app is good because it shows you current trailers and highlights what's opening, coming soon, popular, etc.  So it curates for you.  You have to know what you want to see with Youtube and of course, you can't use the new Siri function with Youtube at all, so you have to use the very annoying text input or control with your smartphone.

Sir Winston, calm down.  I already retracted the "warning".  No, not thick fog, just my comment about the new ATV not being a worthwhile upgrade.  In fact, it is for all intents I can see, a step back.  At least right now.  It's more about the future.  That's why I still wear a Timex and not an Apple Watch, by the way.
