Q: MacBook Pro mid 2012 non retina kernel panic and weird display issue

Screen Shot 2015-12-15 at 1.15.17 PM.png

hello all, I am having a problem with my MacBook, after many google searches I have not been able to find an identical problem. My display will freeze up, sometimes with weird lines/blocks (see attached photo) and then will kernel panic and crash. When it restarts I've encountered three different scenarios, 1. It will boot up normally 2. It will beep three times, turn off and attempt to turn on again, and 3. The flashing globe. I believe that this could be the result of a loose component, because the issue will happen almost anytime I make a quick movement with my MacBook. Please help! I would like to further diagnose the problem so that it can be repaired quickly. Thanks!

Check to see if the MBP had a kernel panic.  If so, log and post it:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201753

Also run an Apple Hardware Test:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257

Note that an error free AHT is NOT definitive.

    Ciao.

note that I uninstalled the intel.haxm kernel extension, but regardless this issue persisted previous to me downloading the extension and after removing it.

I've ran a few hardware tests, all clean.

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider. You may have to leave the machine there for several days.

Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.

If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

Thanks Linc, however right now I'm seeing if anyone out there on the forums is aware of the source of this issue/ has experienced it before. I've heard horror stories of people experiencing somewhat similar issues ( I think covered by the big retina issue they had a class action suit for) and going in, having the genius bar tell them they need a new logic board, and then the issue persisting. If possible I would even like to fix the issue myself, as my macbook is under warranty.

The page fault is memory, but the rest is cpu. I would follow Link's advise as you are not going to fix this on your own.
