Dec 15, 2015 2:44 PM in response to turingtest2by brian_mac,When I click on My Music all I get is the following:
iCloud Music Library
There was a problem connecting to iCloud. Try again later.
I tried turning on home sharing (ensure that both the apple TV where on the same network). I tried rebooting the unit. I tried login in and loging out of the each of the times under System > Accounts on the Apple TV.
Still nothing seems to work.
Just to be clear about what you are saying....
You are saying that I am correct in thinking that when I click on My Music I should see my iTunes purchased music just the way I see my iTunes purchased movies on my Apple TV. I should be able to do this with no other subscription. Correct?

Dec 15, 2015 3:58 PM in response to brian_macby turingtest2,Hmm, when I drill down into Music I see across the top of the screen Radio, My Music, Playlists, Search & Now Playing. With My Music selected at the top the right hand side then reads Shuffle, Recently Added, Artists, Albums, Songs, Music Videos, Genres, Composers, and Compilations. I can select any of these and explore my purchases. I can also select the Computers app to get access to libraries that are shared on my network with Home Sharing.

Dec 15, 2015 6:31 PM in response to turingtest2by brian_mac,Yes, you are describing what I am seeing for the top level links Radio, My Music, Playlists and Search.
It's just when I hover over My Music all I get is There was a problem connecting to iCloud. Try again later.
The really strange part is that when I first plugged this new Apple TV unit in it did the same thing except would intermittently (after a few "try again" clicks) give me my library.
Very odd and very buggy behavior.

Dec 15, 2015 6:45 PM in response to turingtest2by brian_mac,Way ahead of you there. Tried that. I also when as far as logging out and back in to everything under Settings > Accounts
Not sure what else I can do.
I am going to try to just fully reset. Maybe if I redo the setup.

Have you tried a wired connection rather than wireless?
Any joy connecting to iTunes on a computer?

Dec 15, 2015 7:18 PM in response to brian_macby brian_mac,Reseting the device and doing a fresh setup worked. I selected MANUAL SETUP instead of Setup with IOS device this time.
The first time I chose setup with IOS device so perhaps there was something flawed there or in how I did it there.
Either way I am rolling and my library is available now.
Thanks for the replies and effort buddy
