Dolby 2.0.ac3

Dolby 2.0.ac3

when i use Compressor i get two files of audio --an aif and a Dolby2.0.ac3

normally i import the aif, what is the proper use of the Dolby 2.0.ac3 in a project? should i drop it into a track beneath the aif?

Yes, just use the AC3.
The AIFF could be used if you required the highest quality
but the downside is it takes up more room on the DVD and
increases the bit rate, requiring in some cases to sacrifice
video quality.

oh, in that case i'll use the aif!

is it compatible across all players (aiff).

AIFF is part of the DVD spec.
One warning, you may experience some loss of audio sync in the final disc.
