Safari Loses Bookmark Folders

Just updated to OS 10.11.2. Was editing bookmarks. Moved two critical folders with many bookmarks so that were near the top of the email bar. iCloud started an auto back-up and the folders disappeared. Have checked the remaining folders and cannot find them in another folder. How can I recover them?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 2.8 core 2 duo, 500 GB SATA , 4 GB

Hey Sunsetdude,

I understand that a couple folders worth of bookmarks appears to have gone missing. Fortunately you can restore these bookmarks from iCloud.com by going to Settings and clicking 'Restore Bookmarks' at the bottom, under 'Advanced.'

If you need to access a bookmark that you deleted within the last 30 days, you can recover it from iCloud.com. Just click Settings, and under Advanced, click Restore Bookmarks
