Q: want delete button on my email

Just as in my main email account, I want a delete (trash can) button. How is this accomplished?

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.1

    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

     

    If I understand your post correctly, you are not seeing a trash icon when viewing emails on a certain account.  If this a Gmail account, then you may be archiving your email, rather than trashing it.  For more information please see the link below.
