Q: iCloud spam and wired apple support !

Hello

from week ago i start receive blank spam emails from @icloud account for example this email

I've tried to contact apple support to report this issue , system requested me to insert my Macbook serial number which is C0******8FG**

1- when i insert my macbook serial number to get support , the system did not recognized it and i got error message !!

2- I've selected support by phone call , after submission i received 2 calls from apple support , every time it say click 1 to speak with advisor , and when i did it hangup the phone in my face !

3- the funny is , after 5 min i got email from apple support say they tried to call me but i didn't answer What The **** !!!! u kidding me ?

too bad apple for this support , u should work on your support before releasing iPhone 7 .

If you have a previously open ticket with Apple Support then the emails could be legitimate and they were indeed trying to call you. However, if you don't have any open tickets/issues with them, the email could very well be dubious.

no , i don't have any open ticket , i can't open a ticket or start chat because their system did not recognize my macbook serial number :/

Then I'd have to say that those spam emails are just that, spam, and shouldn't be taken seriously. If you're trying to contact Support, you can do so via calling them -- Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

I'm getting over 10 spam emails per day from @icloud into my inbox not junk !! And they have wierd content , i am sure someone else dose .
anyway i just added fillter to block any incomming msg from icloud thats the only sulotion for now

Another solution is to forward the spam to spam@icloud.com and also have a loot at this -- Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support
