this app cant run on your pc

this is what comes up when I try and install iTunes on my computer.

It also says, to find a version for your pc, check the software publisher.

Its taking a really really long time to download iTunes in the first place, on my windows 10 PC and my windows 8 PC.

Still yet to wait for it to finish on windows 8 to try it, but it def wont work on my windows 10.

In the beginning it was on windows 10, and when I tried to download some apps, it was going to take 5 hours to download ONE single youtube app.

I deleted iTunes and tried re downloading, and it was taking just as long.

When I tried to install the new download of iTunes the above message showed.

I tried running as admin, but still comes up with it.

I also tried installing the old version of iTunes.. and it goes through the motions but then comes up with a message saying it couldn't finish as there is a error.

I ALSO have a issue on my Ipod touch I just got second hand, I just logged onto iTunes, and went to download an app, it says I Need IOS 7, but when I look for IOS updates, it says its up to date on IOS 6.1.6

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time installing iTunes on your Windows computer. The following article has a lot of information that you can use to troubleshoot this issue - If you can't install or update iTunes for Windows.

Regarding your iPod touch, iOS 7 and later require an iPod touch (5th generation) or later in order to install. See the System Requirements at the bottom of this page - iOS 7

Based on some other recent reports Windows may show the "This app can't run on your PC" error message if the iTunes installer is incomplete or corrupt. Your observation that the download took a long time may also be indicative of this issue. Try downloading again and see if that resolves the issue; the installers for the latest (12.3.2.35) release of iTunes should be either:

32-bit - iTunesSetup.exe - file size 124,615,367 bytes
64-bit - iTunes6464Setup.exe - file size 167,608,088 bytes
