Q: Keyboard doesn't work correctly, macbook pro mid 2009

Hi,

I have a macbook pro mid 2009.

Some of the keys (q,w,a,s) don't work as expected: sometimes they work, sometimes I need to press them very hard, sometimes they are unresponsive.

At the apple shop of my city they told me that I should replace the whole keyboard but since the macbook i's vintage (see Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support) I can't find the keyboard anymore.

Do I have any alternative?

Maybe it is possible that the keyboard is not broken and there is just some dust and therefore I can solve the problem with some cleaning? I have already tried to remove the keys and clean the external part of the keyboard, but maybe cleaning the keyboard after having removed it can make the difference.

Thanks.

MacBook Pro
