Q: Need Hard Drive Size

I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro, Operating Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, that I am looking to sell.  I have restored it to factory settings and through I had obtained all the info for it, but I do not have the hard drive size. Is there a way I can look up the hard drive size with the serial number?

    Hello there, flotus116.

It sounds like you're trying to determine the size of the hard drive on your MacBook Pro.  The following Knowledge Base article provides some insight on where to find that information on your computer:

Find the OS X version and build number on your Mac

The image below from that article shows the "Storage" tab, which is where you will see information regarding the size of your hard drive:

    Check About this Mac

From the Apple menu, choose About This Mac. The version of OS X appears directly below “OS X.” Click the version number to see the build number. You can also use System Information to find these numbers.

To find out whether a later version of OS X is available for your Mac, check for software updates.
