how can i switch off "screenshots" (and icloud) ?????

ios 9.1 is duplicating every photo in camera roll to an album it refers to screenshots, assuming they are screenshots. to delete from screenshots is to delete from the camera roll. i do not WANT ANY photos in camera roll copied to another folder. if i want screenshots in a second folder, then i will CREATE it. there seems to be NO way to elliminate the screenshots folder. ideas, anyone?

They are not copied, only displayed in those other smart album. Also the Screenshots, Selfies, Panoramas, Videos, Bursts, Hidden and Recently Deleted albums can't be removed as they are part of the Photos app.

You can ask Apple for a way to do what you want via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto_ios.html

For now all we can do is learn to ignore them.
