- Is the drive self-powered, that only powered by the USB bus? If so it could be that the USB port does not provided enough power. You can try a powered USB hub. You can also get a USB pigtail that takes power from to USB ports to the single USB port on the drive.
- Does it show in Disk Utility?
- You said "nor in the usb port". Does that mean it does not show in System Profiler under USB? You should see the chipset in the enclosure as well as the HD itself

- Have you tried all the USB ports?
Do the USB ports work for other external HD?

- The drive is powered only by the USB port. Is it possible that the new mac book pro usb ports provide less power than other older mac models? seems kind of strange. I will try buying a powered usb hub but i wanted to rule out any other possibilities before buying something (and then seeing that it doesnt work )
- When i plug the disk , the disk works (blue light + noise as normal)
- Yes, I meant in the System Profiler ( see print screen while disk connected) , doesnt show up at all
- tried all usb ports
- Other disks have worked fine in the past , I am anyways going to try more as soon as i find
any idea ...?

Also try other USB external disks
