I Installed Windows 10 and my. iPod nano - 4th generation is not recognized.  Have gone through all the suggested options through Apple support communities, You tube for Windows as well as Windows support.  Still doesn't work. Any other suggestions?  Go to the Apple Store?

I'm having the same issue with my iPod Nano (not sure which generation but I've had it a long time). Everything I've tried doesn't seem to work. I'm really sorry that I ever downloaded Windows 10. Hopefully someone can come up with a fix to this problem.

Yahoo! Problem fixed, bu it took a call to Apple Support. Turns out that I had to uninstall iTunes, but there's a specific series of other Apple programs that have to be uninstalled one by one.   Then reinstall - and my nano came up.

Glad you got your iPod to work. Do you, by any chance, remember what you needed to do besides uninstall iTunes? I already tried that but it's still not recognizing it. Thanks for any help you can give.

If you look at your program list, there are quite a few Apple programs.  They all have to come out, but in a specific order -- and there's one that doesn't carry the Apple name.  I had also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and it didn't work without all the other uninstalls.  So, it was really worth it to reach out to Apple Support -- and it didn't cost anything but time.  My IPod nano is synced and ready to go -- finally. Very frustrating, but it ended well.
