Being tired waiting for hours to download things needed to restart and for the possibility to have no access to internet - I wanted to be prepared by using old fashioned CDs/ DVDs or USB-Sticks to be able to re-install or repair all needed stuff locally without internet intervention.
If Recovery Partition on Mac fails or even the drive, you need something external to start with and without using all the download features it will be less time consuming - I guess!
The last Apple generation tool to create external Recovery HD / Stick etc. was available for Lion - as fas as I know - there is nothing comparable prepared for El Capitan!?
Any thoughts?
