If it is not, then you might try data recovery software that is available on the Internet or engage a professional data recovery service (which will be very expensive and offer you NO guarantee of success).

If the Display is not properly working, it may be an option to explore further - Share files between two computers with target disk mode - Apple Support . It does require another Mac (or a PC) with appropriate adapters and cables.
