Is the incompatibility between iCloud for Windows and Outlook 2016 fixed yet?

When I attempt to update iCloud for Windows on my Windows 10 system and Office 365, I receive Error Code 2434. I was told by Tech Support at Apple earlier that this was caused by a "temporary incompatibility" between iCloud for Windows and Outlook 2016. Does anyone know whether this has been fixed? Also, is there any chance that Apple can broadcast a notice to users when it has been fixed?

It was fixed on or about December 7. See the quote below from Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

iCloud for Windows 5.1 supports Outlook 2016. Update iCloud for Windows now to access your iCloud Mail, Contacts, and Calendars in Outlook 2016.
